A lower price only helps when you can trust the comparison. Here’s exactly what our numbers mean.
We read public product pages from GyFTR, magicpin, Woohoo, Zingoy. The current catalogue has available listings for 3 voucher brands across 4 platforms. Amazon Pay and Amazon Shopping are separate products with different redemption rules. Each listing links to its source and shows when it was observed.
GyFTR prices use its published UPI route. Woohoo prices require coupon WOOHOO and an eligible UPI payment. Zingoy shows first-party face-value subtotals; its final fees are unconfirmed and advertised cashback is excluded. Woohoo’s fixed-value products use only their listed denominations; custom-value products use common amounts within the published range. magicpin balance redemption is added back to the displayed pay amount, so spending existing points does not count as a saving.
A page observation is not a completed checkout. Provider eligibility and final charges still apply. Any illustrative fixtures retained for testing are always labelled as examples and have no verification timestamp.
A ₹5,000 search matches a single ₹5,000 voucher. We don’t assume that smaller vouchers can be combined, that you can redeem an excess balance, or that prices across different denominations are comparable.
The payable price is what you pay the provider before any cashback. Only guaranteed cashback belongs in the effective price. Credit-card points, conditional rewards and personalised benefits are outside this comparison.
Amounts use integer paise. Percentage discounts round half-up to the nearest paise. The displayed saving percentage is truncated to two decimal places; exact rupee savings and price breakdowns are the source of truth.
A manually entered offer is “verified” when an operator has checked it within the last 72 hours. Older checks are marked stale; missing checks are marked unverified. A verification timestamp reflects that operator’s check, not a guarantee that a provider won’t change its offer.
Only available, unexpired offers with an exact denomination are eligible. Fresh verified offers rank first, followed by fresh observed estimates; stale and unverified offers follow, with examples last. Within each tier, lower calculated prices appear first, but a subtotal with unknown fees is not a confirmed saving. Ties use the upfront discount, verification recency and provider name. “Lowest verified effective price” is awarded only within the same denomination to a fresh, manually verified offer.
Merchant pages start at ₹100. Enter an amount to check connected platforms again; prices appear as each platform responds. Fixed vouchers must match exactly, and custom values need a supported amount range. Failed checks are shown alongside any successful results. Saved observations elsewhere become stale after 72 hours and leave comparisons after seven days; the operator can also refresh the full catalogue.
Gift Scanner compares offers; it does not sell vouchers or make purchases. Before buying, check the provider’s voucher type, eligibility, expiry, redemption limits and final price. There are no paid ranking placements in this version.
We count searches, merchant views, opened offer details and provider clicks to understand whether comparisons are useful. We may record the merchant, offer and amount, but never raw search text, IP addresses or browser identifiers in analytics. Events are retained for up to 30 days, with cleanup on the next event. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Public visitors don’t need an account or tracking cookie.
